Carol Zhang | Junior Accountant

Carol joined the Preece Accounting team in 2024 as a trainee Accountant. She holds a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Tasmania. Originally from China, Carol completed her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and gained two years of experience in a commercial accounting role. Drawn to Tasmania by its unique culture and lifestyle, she decided to continue her studies there after receiving the University of Tasmania International Scholarship. Carol is an Associate (ASA) member of CPA Australia.

In her current role, Carol assists with preparing financial statements, tax returns, and company audits. Her keen attention to detail and strong technical skills make her a valuable team member.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring new recipes. She also loves taking her baby to the beach. With her passion for Tasmania’s relaxed lifestyle and natural beauty, Carol brings a positive and energetic approach to both her professional and personal life.
